To our amazing supporters,
Kittie Kat Rescue Inc. is facing one of our most critical financial challenges to date. Winnie, Toe Beans, Tristan, Rayne, and Teddie—five vulnerable souls—are currently fighting to overcome heartbreaking circumstances.
While we are doing everything humanly possible to provide them with specialist care, the reality is that our veterinary bills have skyrocketed to $20,000.
As a 100% volunteer-run rescue with no government funding, we simply cannot carry this weight alone. Every dollar donated goes directly toward the hospitalisation, surgery, and life-saving diagnostics these five babies require.
MEET THE FIGHTERS
Rayne – Emergency Surgery
Rayne’s ordeal began after ingesting a piece of string. After days of intermittent vomiting and significant weight loss, scans revealed a foreign body. She was rushed into emergency surgery for an exploratory laparotomy. Her recovery has been difficult; she developed painful mouth ulcers and remains at risk of complications while her team monitors her closely.
Teddie – Complex Congenital Condition
Teddie was born with a rare deformity where his bladder emptied via his rectum due to the absence of a normal urethral opening. He underwent highly specialised microsurgery to create a functional urinary pathway. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Eugene and his team, who performed this procedure significantly below cost to give Teddie a chance.
Estimated cost: $5,000
Tristan – Intensive Care Fighter
Tristan, a friendly colony cat from Chester Hill, was found in devastating condition. He tested positive for both Parvo and FeLV. He has been receiving intensive veterinary care to fight these aggressive illnesses and refuse to give up.
Estimated cost: $6,000
Toebeans – Tiny Survivor
Little Toebeans was found crying on a doorstep in obvious pain. He has been diagnosed with a dislocated hip and several broken ribs—injuries suspected to be the result of trauma. He faces a long road to recovery and ongoing treatment.
Estimated cost: $4,000
Winnie – A Fragile Angel
Winnie was dumped at a vet and rushed to emergency care. While battling a serious illness herself, she heartbreakingly lost all of her babies. We are doing everything we can to support Winnie through this physical and emotional trauma.
Estimated cost: $4,000+
